My favorite go to restaurant any time I'm in a big city where they have this chain. It's high quality and CONSISTENT always. Service is spot on too! Sushi is delish, salads, fresh fish desserts (key lime pie the best outside of the Keys)

Ambiance is elevated but relaxed. Drinks were tasty and the food was so satisfying. Favorite dishes were the Yellowtail sashimi and French Dip. The martini was perfection. To top it all off the service was wonderful.

Food, service, ambiance are above AMAZING! Consistent, too! This is our go to restaurant for Sunday brunch. Need to try it for dinner.

A quite unique and thought-provoking experience. While the food was good, the atmosphere and environment of the restaurant are awkward, uninviting and uncomfortable. Upon arriving, we were told that we could not sit at the bar before our table was ready. When we were finally sat, the food was excellent but the waiters and waitresses portrayed robot like characteristics with their responses and actions. The dark atmosphere definitely adds to these feelings. Despite an experience that is hard to describe, the food could not be better.

The food here is awesome! Everything we ordered last night was delicious. We had the shrimp tempura roll, smoked salmon appetizer, deviled eggs and a Cadillac margarita (which now reading back sounds like a weird combo but it was great)! Super cute waitress and very helpful. We even ordered the salmon to go for the next day. My only issue with this restaurant is the waitlist for the bar. That bar is always jammed. They need to add more stools by the entrance of the bar. The waitlist at the bar for the bar is not my favorite. First come first serve for me. Oh, also they need a better tv at the bar too. ***Btw- I can't forget the best part of the meal- chocolate mousse. That should be a permanent item on the menu. Delish! I think it's called the pots de creme. Yummy!!!!!!

Well, based upon my review from 11 years ago (heh), nothing much has changed. I have been here a few times throughout the years. It's always amazing and the staff are always terrific. My husband and I met just before COVID and I have been telling him about Hillstone since we first met. We just never made it in until Father's Day this year. Taeya was our waitress and she's just awesome. Very attentive, super gracious with my weird fish "allergy," and had spot on recommendations. I don't eat a lot of meat - this visit was for nostalgia for me and steak for him. Spinach Artichoke Dip - I have no idea why we ordered this. We had menu paralysis because we wanted literally everything. I didn't care for it. It is served with salsa and sour cream. I found it to be *very* sweet. Hubs though it was great. Everything else was delicious and cooked to perfection. Just an FYI, I'd probably skip dessert. They don't have a ton of options and there are *so many* places downtown to get a freaking fantastic sweet. That said, still get a cocktail or two! P.S. They ask you to dress nicely for a reason. Not because it is a $500+ steak house but because they just have an atmosphere and would like to keep it more polished. There was a guy seated near us in basketball shorts. Like, c'mon.

Love the vibe here! Definitely more of a classier restaurant with a dress code and an overall older crowd of people. Service and our server were terrific, would try something different if I were to return. Would highly suggest a reservation on a Saturday night
